We understand the importance of mental health concerns and the hope for these concerns to be resolved in a short amount of time. Our counsellors will guide you through therapy with your best interests in mind. With that said, some issues are more difficult and require a longer treatment time. Many of our clients will see their therapist for 5-8 sessions.
Your counsellor will stay in close communication with you to make sure needs are being met. We want your family to feel successful, whether that is 4 appointments or 24.

In order for your child or teen to be able to trust their counsellor, they must know that what they share with their counsellor will be kept in confidence. However, we can share general information about the issues we are working on and if progress is being made. There are some exceptions to confidentiality, which mostly involve concern for the safety of your child or teen. It is important for us to have regular contact with you and possibly involve you in the therapy process.
